We had a excellent takeaway from the Royal Oak yesterday evening. All food was piping hot and delicious and delivered exactly on time for a birthday celebration. Thank you so much and highly recommend. We can’t wait to come back to eat in when able.

Really good, high quality food in a comfortable pub setting. You'd be forgiven for thinking you're in a country pub, even though it's on the outskirts of a major city. There's a reasonable range big real (craft) ales and speciality gins too. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the service was pretty quick (Wednesday evening), but we were there early and got served first. It's VERY popular and is often booked up in advance, even on a weeknight, so it's worth making a reservation if you're intent on eating there.
