You have to pay for several classes on top of your membership fee to use the equipment even if you already owned and used it. They don’t tell you this up front. You could end up spending 80 per class. Some equipment they want you to take 3-4 classes. When I asked them to cancel my membership they charged me anyway and said I didn’t give them 10 days notice. Ridiculous!! I’m now out 400 of my hard earned money. Beware!!

This place has every machine I could want in one place and their kids' classes are excellent. My kids have learned so many useful skills from welding, woodworking, arduino, 3d printing, etc. It's great to have a place that they can learn to work with their hands and useful computer software. Today they finished their level three class and came home with the awesome skateboards they made.

This maker space is the largest Ive attended. I am taking a class they just added on how to make sautered stained glass! Ive taken Metal Shop and Mig Welding as well with them. Quality instruction in a DIY membership based program. Very happy to be here! Various members who are more like a community than anything. Everyone is so nice and always here to help.

My 11 year old got up to the level 3 summer camp class and loved it. Such a wide array of topics taught to the kids. Would highly recommend Urban Workshop for anyone debating on sending their kids for classes.
