We have recently had a complete rewire of our house completed by Mel Owen and his team and couldn’t be happier. We have used Mel in the past at our previous house and have always been happy with the quality and service provided. This was no different. Great advice given to us with regards to what we might require, and the lads who carried out the works were tidy, efficient and very professional. We would highly recommend Mel Owen Electrical.

Highly recommended this company. They always respond promptly to enquiries, and every electrician who has come to carry out work has always been punctual, professional, helpful and friendly. It's an absolute bonus that they also carry out their work neatly AND tidy up after themselves. Would never use anyone else, I have in the past and been let down/disappointed, but a friend recommended Mel Owen, and now I'd never use anyone else. Excellent 5 star standards in every aspect.
Would highly recommend this company for any electrical work needed. Very professional and thorough. Lads were very polite and tidied up after every visit, including wearing full PPE during the visit, following all government covid guidelines. Thank you all, great job. Very happy.

Well, where do you start! This company did an total rewire on a family members property and I would not recommend them to change a plug. The job was terrible from start to finish and as we continue to renovate the property more and more problems have come to light, which include: Very, very messy worker - I would expect some mess, but no attempt was made to tidy up after each time they visited the property. The job took nearly a month and they kept calling sporadically and leaving more mess each time they visited. On one occasion they used my toolbox as steps as they had clearly left theirs on at another site. Plenty of loose wires on plug sockets and bathroom light, outside light and bedroom (Either flickering and on one occasion, arcing. Although the plugs were not fastened to the wall for plaster work to be completed it was evident that too many grub screws had not been tightened by the \electrician\. Cables not clipped in properly and left sagging in working areas and feed through between hot and cold pipes (all now rectified) I feel that we had a trainee on the job and Stevie Wonder signing it off. We had this company recommended to us and though they were not the cheapest we were expecting better from them....beware! I could write lots more and may do when I have simmered down from the last shoddy workmanship that I have discovered under the floor today!!
Great, got stuck with a severely broken and dangerous switch in the kitchen, and they came round within 30 min and sorted it out, great stuff, really helpful, great service and the guy was really friendly
Fast efficient trustworthy...hand them the keys, go out, and they get on with it. Very pleased.
