This is a decent place, nothing flash but it delivers what it offers. Personally I think the \beach\ needs a few hundred tons of new sand to refresh it as it was very very compacted and more like concrete. The beach area was of course the most popular spot for visitors but many ended up on the grass so the entire beach could do with being extended so more people have the opportunity to feel like they are by the seaside. On the downside if the weather is bad you are stuck in the middle of nowhere with not much to do and not many places to get out of the rain. Our last visit was a total misery and it really showed up the limitations of the site.

A really good family day out. A touch pricey but my 5 year old really enjoyed it. Great playgrounds, she loved the boats and splashing around in the lake.

Excellent day. I was a bit worried about the crowds of people likely to be going on the hottest day of the year! Thankfully they had it all under control and we felt safe. They had marked measured areas out to allow people to safely distance on the beach and grassy areas. A one way system had been designed to get people to the water's edge and back. The staff that interacted with me were very polite, helpful and smily. Thanks so much, it was my first visit here

Had a nice visit with the family. Kids did the inflatable course and I enjoyed loaded chips at the beach shack.

Excellent day . We had the best fun . Did the paddle boarding and kayaking. It is a great family day out. Downside, no changing facilities, not enough bins, need more toilet blocks, and refreshments way over priced. But you can take your own food and drink . Sadly the playground wasnt open due to covid but i would go back . Staff very friendly
