Great local “Wagashi” or Japanese sweets store in the heart of Shinkawa. The sweets on offer range from traditional favourites and seasonal specialities. I can’t count the number of times that I have been here, but on each occasion I’ve picked up a different sweet - every time has been absolutely delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and will take their time to explain each sweet in great detail. Strongly recommend this store to fans of Japanese sweets and those curious to enter the wonderful world of Wagashi!

職場がこの近くのとき、手土産で苺大福よく利用させてもらいました。 和菓子好きな人には食べていただくと、たいてい喜ばれます。 かくいう自分も今まで食べた大福の中で一番ここの苺大福が好きです。 苺は酸味があって、餡子の甘さ、薄くてもっちりな求肥が絶妙なマッチ。 小ぶりな苺のときは、苺が2個入ってたりします。 以前は15日が苺の日で、150円の破格で速攻に売り切れたりしてましたが、1〜2年ほど前から苺の日はなくなりました。 それでも200円と良心的な価格で、午後に買いに行くと売り切れてることがままあります。 他の和菓子も美味しいので、ついつい疲れたときは何個も買っちゃいます。
いちご大福が美味しいです。 この日は残念ながら売り切れで初めてよもぎ餅を買いましたが柔らかくて美味しい！
