Finally decided to walk into Chuan Kitchen on level 6 of Central World last week Saturday and tried their Hokkein Mee, and was surprised to taste the "wok hei". Today, after the satisfying experience last week, having tasted such delicious Hokkein Mee, equal to many great names in Singapore, I am back to challenge their laksa. Great taste, nothing really to complain but I will very much prefer if the gravy is thicker, maybe have some chopped small dried prawn added, will definitely improve the taste. If you want some great local Singapore food with fantastic services, Chuan Kitchen is definitely one place to visit in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tried their hokkien mee noodles and Laksa. Both were good. The portions were big. My personal favorite at this place however is their version of mapo tofu. Super delicious. The service is quick.
Authentic Singaporean cuisine I have not had in a big while. At first I was skeptical since I have been trying to find good Hokkien Mee in Thailand that tastes just like the one in Singapore Tried it, absolute best ... no need to fly down to SG to quench my hunger. The Laksa and Satay were not bad as well. I just wish they have the Rice Cake to go with, would be perfect nostalgia
Great interior design and mixed feeling of Singaporean and Malaysian food. If you like something new and nice proportion for a person, it’s a great new spot to give a try. The laksa can be a bit spicy but you may ask the waitress to make it less
I had a pleasant lunch in this place. They are attentive and fast. I had the shrimp Wonton Laksa which was just the right portion size for one person to be able to try other things. I have moderate tolerance for spice and it was just the right amount to cut through the creaminess. I like that there are bits of clam in my soup. The xiao long bao was the star of my meal. The skin was thin but resilient and the soup inside was spot on. Eat it while it's hot! I had the butterfly pea with calamansi for drinks just because I saw calamansi! Amount of citrus put in was generous so I'm happy.
The Hokkien mee is so good. Reminds me of Rochor Road Hokkien Mee in Singapore many many years ago. AUTHENTIC, REASONABLY PRICED , GREAT SERVICE. What more to ask for.
Good authentic singaporean style food. I like my fried hokkien prawn noodles very much.
Remind me of a trip to Malaysia and Singapore. Indeed authentic and delicious.
