Nice peaceful place. Went on a Monday October and everything was closed except for access. We had a walk around and looked into the wine making area underneath.

An Orthodox male order monastery dedicated to Our Lady of the Golden Pomegranate. Hidden in the Troodos Mountains. Surrounded by pine forests and quiet. It's a long story. Founded in the 12th century C.E. A place worth visiting because it is a place where you can rethink your life. You can reflect on what you have done in your life. About good or bad matters. There is a local shop with local Cypriot produce. Car park available of road. I visited this beautiful place surrounded by silence in May 2015. I recommend it.

A must see place. Such a peaceful setting. So lovely to go into the church to light a candle in remembrance of absent family and friends. Views to die for.

Worth seeing, small and with sense of times. I was there in the end of April, something like cafeteria was before the entrance, but yet was closed. They say they have a very good own wine, there is a shop inside to buy it. Toilet facilities as well are available an free.

A beautiful spot to stop driving through, views are fabulous! There is a little coffee shop and terrace to enjoy a refreshment before traveling on.
