Should I really tell you about this place? Probably no, becasue I'm not sure you'd be in the frame of mind to appreciate this fantastic gem of Ueno. By accidental luck we popped down the two flights of stairs to this open plan restaurant. Use your Google translate for this one, or see what happens, you cant get dissapointed. Great texture on the Soba and you can have it as set menu with half a katsu Don, Sashimi, tendon, or such. It's great for lunch, but not for a posh date If you? Like Marugame for Udon, you'll live this place for Soba.
Nice hospitality, reasonable price, delicious food, and fast serving time. I ordered the duck soba and it was totally worth it, if you haven't tried it I suggest you do nect time.
