Matthew has done a superb repair to a cast iron Singer Stool that I purchased broken. Repair is virtually invisible and the stool now looks great. Very pleased. Will buy some more broken items shortly!! Thank you.

Marneys Village Inn

Matthew from Wroughtironsussex has recently finished a very exciting interior commission for us here at Marnie’s Free house in Esher. Working in conjunction with a complete refurbishment project and various trades and managers to design and build a very unique new look to the pub. We have been honestly overwhelmed with the popularity of the Stainless Steel recycled beer barrels installed in the men’s facilities; they have been a real draw and talking point attracting new customers. After doing a lot of research and discussing the project we decided on using Wroughtironsussex as the quality of the overall finish and workmanship was far superior to any other supply we found. As a small independent pub it was a gamble to invest in the barrel commission but one which we feel as fully paid off!

Mathew Howard, always a pleasure to deal with, has made us a handsome and sturdy gate that will last for years and give us pleasure whenever we use it. It's a fine finishing touch to our home and much admired by our neighbours.

I contacted Matthew to forge a ring out of a 300 years old wrought iron nail. He did it with a short notice, with alot of care and I massively enjoy the result. I end up with a beautiful ring (that can rule them all...) and one more nice human being met. Merci :-) Go local craftsmen (and women), go !

Matthew designed a stunning pair of wrought iron hand rails for some steps in our garden in Amberley. They are an incredibly clever design and complement the house and garden beautifully. They have an organic quality about them that references the vines growing next to the steps. We are thrilled that something so practical looks like a work of art in its own right. Matthew put a lot of creative energy and enthusiasm into our project and we are delighted with the results.
