The food is the best...my expectations were surpassed with this little jewel of the Northside...Conch fritters perfection...Stewed Red Snapper exquisite...oxtails rice and peas delightful...and that cabbage sauce very spicy and perfectly made...im in heaven thx!!!

Food not served in timely manner. You sometimes do not receive plantains with your dinner. They do not tell you either. Plantains are served with dinners. They charge you for bags. Other than that the food is delicious! Especially their beef. But lately they haven't had beef. They always say come early because they run out. So no one is ordering chicken or fish?

Redz Belizean Restaurant is the realdeal here on Chicago Northside. The only place I can come and eat as if my mother made it. I'm getting hungry so I'll call and make my order soon (Tamales, Panades, Dukunu and stew meat) now that's only for me. Thanks for bringing Belizean food to Chicago.

The food is really delicious, and it is priced very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I recommend if you want authentic Belizean cuisine.

Best Belizean, if not the only Belizean, food in town- definitely the best I've ever had! Everything is well seasoned and it is evident that the meats are marinated considering how juicy and succulent they are! Portions are more than fair for the price and you definitely will be stuffed with any of the Large meals/plates! ONLY addition(s) I'd like to make here, are fried plantains and mac and cheese, which may be culturally inappropriate! I've never been to Belize, but apparently these foods are not staples to their cultural food as they are in Jamaican cuisine, despite both being countries in the Caribbean! Regardless- for 15, you will be HARD pressed to find better food in Chicago! Love Redz!!
