BitSpace Reviews | Rating 4.4 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

BitSpace is located in Chicago, United States on 2541 W Lawrence Ave. BitSpace is rated 4.4 out of 5 in the category learning center in United States. Bit Space is driving a revolution in the classroom, and it starts with “yes.” Yes, to getting students to use new tools and allowing them to decide what to create with them. Yes, to guiding adventurous teachers down a path of facilitating wonder, creativity, and complex thinking. And Yes to charting new territory in the world of maker education with progressive educators across the globe. From online and in-person Professional Development courses to comprehensive in-school and after school programs and maker space design and build services, we have a solution for every educator who wants support for integrating Design Thinking and Maker Education into their classroom. OUR MISSION: Unlocking creativity We exist to empower children to become critical thinkers and problem solvers who are inspired to lead the way in our rapidly changing world. We achieve our mission with educators who become ambassadors of change in the classroom while guiding our youth to become producers, not just consumers, of their environment-- unlocking creativity, together. OUR VISION: Disrupting the status quo Education has hit an inflection point. Our children need to become the problem solvers, risk takers, and entrepreneurs of the future, but conventional education, rote learning, and high stakes testing are not preparing students to meet those needs. As AI and automation become more commonplace, companies need thinkers who can work with diverse teams and unexpected challenges -- problem-solving by taking calculated risks rather than waiting for directions. For that to happen, change has to take place in the classroom. Today. Our goal at Bit Space is to help educators across the globe engage all students in a way that sparks wonder and joy while proving that failure is just a step on the road to success.

Lots of fun for curious kids (and their adults who want a glimpse into the present / future). Virtual reality, tools and building, awesome experience!

My son loves Bit Space and I love the combination of safety instruction, guided creation, and free time. Educators like me know the cognitive benefits from building and creating include critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.... things that teachers try to cultivate in their classrooms but often cannot due to standardized testing fever and all the test prep it entails. Bit Space is a great place to build those skills and strategies that last a lifetime. I do wish Bit Space was a little less pricey. My family is very fortunate to be able to afford it, but this is the kind of thing all kids need. On-site after school programs with Bit Space would be a great opportunity for kids, but the logistics are difficult. I just wish all kids could benefit from this equally. Also, just a little warning for those who have never been to Bit Space Lincoln Square: the parking lot is tiny and awkward. I park on the street. Good work, Bit Space!

A fun, challenging, and inspiring place to bring your kid. The offer birthday parties, field trips, and summer camps for kids 6. I wish I had a place like Bit Space when I was growing up!

An awesome space where kids can get familiar and comfortable with tools in a safe environment where they can imagine and build objects. A great alternative for summer camp.
