Excellent pan Asian restaurant. The variety on the menu is great. The staff is courteous and know about the food. The decor is great surrounded by a lot of greenery. It's tastefully done. The spinach, mushroom, and water chestnut dim sum were light. The dim sums are thin and just melt in your mouth. Dan Dan noodles, spicy and very tasty. For dessert, tried the milk toast and condensed milk ice cream. They use a blow torch on the toast at the table, so like the drama. However, the ice cream was very ordinary. Meal for two cost 1100 and it's reasonably priced.

Hu Tong is a compact but beautifully decorated space with clean lines and beautiful accent pieces like the attractive painting of the Koi Carps. This was probably complementary of the swimming fish in the glass floor down but sadlt when I went that was not to be witnessed. Coming to the food we decided to try the Dim Sum combo set lunch. We could choose from 3 types of dim sum plus a veg soup, main and had the option of adding a dessert for an additional Rs 100. I tried the spiced corn soup which was tasty with the ground texture of the sweet corn.Prawn and Chicken SuiMai,Crab meat White fish Hargow,Spicy Basil Leek and Chicken Dumpling. They were all good and every bite was enjoyable. I tried the Chicken Fried Rice with XO Sauce which was spicy and sweet. This really tickles your palate and delivers all the right notes.Served with crackers and some veggies it is a complete meal. I really did not have space for dessert though I did try thr chilly chicken Bao which was average
Loved it to the bits. They have aquariums on the floor with transparent glasses. The food was also yummy. The servers were kind enough to teach my friends and I how to use a chopstick and we nailed it. I would visit it again, if I am ever in the locale.
Amazing food!! Out of the world. Went here on a weekend night and the wait was just a few minutes. The main serving area was full so we were directed to a space at the back, which was very well setup with subtle ambient lighting and a view of the garden. The food itself was very good, super authentic, extremely delicious. Was surprised to find such tasty food at Chennai. Both the main course dishes were vegetarian and the desert was a pleasant surprise and equally good. Whether you are visiting or living in Chennai, hope you visit Hu Tong.
Food is pretty good, and their glass floor with fishes swimming below is fascinating...
A dainty little place, food was ok, slightly on the oilier side for my liking. But their service makes up for it. Prompt, courteous and excellent wait staff! Their Milo milkshake, dimsums and lotus stem dishes were par excellent.
A Chinese Restaurant located in Alwarpet Chennai. Food were great but was oily tho! Staffs were friendly and definitely worth trying.
Food is good, price is little bit on the higher side but we can pay it for the ambience, taste and presentation. A rice and a plate of Dimsum cost around Rs 800. But it is one of the best Dimsums I have tasted yet.
