AVOID!!!! - please be aware that this company is just the middleman who’s only job is to book your appointment for you and perform pointless ‘checks’ on the consultants. Their website is very misleading and makes it sound like you will be seeing one of their consultants but that isn’t the case. I paid 250 for a breast screening at BMI and didn’t realise until after BMI accidentally invoiced me directly that I could’ve got the exact same appointment and service with the exact same consultant for 200. Emailed check4cancer to complain but the woman did not address my concerns of it seeming like a scam and unfair. She said the extra 50 covers the ‘checks’ (which are pointless because BMI and their consultants are reputable and reliable), booking the appointment (which can be done yourself in 2 seconds on the BMI website) and admin fees. I replied to explain further and she has ignored me for weeks and still hasn’t replied - I can only assume it’s because all my concerns are valid. Had no communications, invoice or T&C’s from this company and only got sent the appointment confirmation when I asked for it, everything else came directly from BMI. Save yourself 50 and book directly through the hospital!
