This place is amazing! Stopped here on a Saturday night on the way home. These were the best tacos I ever had and even though they were busy and there was one person doing everything, my food still came out faster than the chain restaurants! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for good food, good times, and good service, will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! Also conveniently located across the street from the capitol complex and right off the freeway, look for the gravel parking lot!

Under new ownership I was a bit hesitant, but I assure you that everything was wonderful! Tried the special, coconut shrimp tacos were phenomenal! Our server. Charles took great care of us! Covid stipulations were well met!
If you don’t try the vegan crab cake sandwich, you’re missing out on one of the best meat substitutions in West Virginia. This sandwich tasted like an authentic Maryland crab cake. The vibe is fun, colorful, and lively. The staff are aware of plant-based preferences, and I felt confident that there wouldn’t be any accidental cheese or mayo in our takeout order. I love the patio seating and draped lights!
Just moved to Charleston so of course I had to come try out a new restaurant. So glad we chose Tricky Fish! The tacos were amazing. Large portions, great flavor, probably some of the best beans I've had. The staff was super nice and welcomed us. Love the patio seating. I've heard great things about the hush puppies as well so we will definitely be back!!
Oiy! So the fried pickles and hush puppies are fantastic!!! Sadly the rest of the meal was a total waist of money. Flavors were under whelming at best. The cheap hot sauce flung across fried shrimp doesn't constitute \buffalo shrimp\, zero depth. Avoid the tofu, they obviously don't know how to make this protein appetizing, comes out looking like mushed dog food. Don't waist your money on tea, it comes from a giant flavor less sack of concentrate. The shrimp tacos are ok, but they were definitely not blackened. The rice and beans is possible the worst I have ever experienced in my life. Celery, why??? Make it tasty, zesty and moist or drop it from the menu entirely.
