The food was average, but the real problem was the service! I normally never leave bad reviews, but this was outrageous. We arrived at the restaurant and immediately they made us feel like they did not want us there. When you are a local you get a warm welcome, but when you are a tourist they completely ignore you. When we finally got a table we had to wait for 20 minutes to get a menu and only after we asked for it ourselves. We ordered 3 dishes which we had to wait for very long and they all arrived separately. My dish was already finished long before the dish of my sister arrived. Every time they came to the table they didn't say anything, even though we said thank you every time. When we were finished the waiter took our plates from the table in a very angry way. We were absolutely shocked about it. Up until this point we always stayed very friendly, but after this we had enough. When we payed the check we asked if they had a problem with us, but they didn't have an answer for us other then that it was busy. This is not a normal way to treat people. Never again for us!

One word; awful service! We arrived at 9, they already gave us the feeling that we were not welcome. Waited 10 min. for a table, another 20 min for a menu (After asking). We ordered 3 dishes (we asked to bring them together), they all arrived separately (20-30 min in between, at 22:00-22:30) Food was average, small portions, old bread (After asking). I don't think they know the words thank you and please... If you're a local Italian, they are very friendly, but apparently not to 2 girls from Belgium. After I paid, I asked them if they had a problem with us, her answer was; it was very busy... Never again. Do not recommend!
If you are around and want a pizza look no further. Best place around, hands down. Great staff, great location and a list of a pool in summertime. Look for Monday events with music and fun.
We happened to stay at the Hotel opposite and this must he the best restaurant in Stabbia because everyone was dressed up for a Sunday night dinner. The place is nicely decorated and the pizza was hands down the best we've had on our one week tuscany trip which is saying something. The antipasti and pasta was very good too with the cacio pepe one of the better ones we've had also. All in all a surprising find in the small town of Stabbia - I would even travel here for the food if I wasn't staying nearby.
