The owner is incredibly passionate about volleyball and player development, both athletic development and character development. Programs are designed to help players learn and excel at volleyball, gain confidence, and really have a ton of fun. It's a family-friendly organization that always has something going on. 1000% recommend.

We were involved with Spike Frog for 5 years before our daughter moved into Club (with Velocity). It's a great place for players to learn the game and develop a love for the game. They practice all over the Cedar Park / Leander area, games are mostly at Cedar Park Rec and the PAC. You can pick your practice night and sign up with friends. They keep the focus on fun while learning. Here's the basic setup: Junior Frog - For the youngest kids in grades 2-4. They play with lower nets, lighter ball, and don't keep score until the tournament. Serves as a good introduction to the game. Focused on fundamentals. If your daughter is ready to move up a level, just ask. If you have a boy that wants to play, you'll find a find in this division and the next. Spike Frog - Grades 5-6. I think this is their largest division. As they do for under 12 club, this league uses a lighter ball. They keep score, but allow serving from in front of the back line. Focus in on improving skills and teamwork. Boss Frog - Grades 6-8. Here you get a mix of teams with more advanced players. Regulation ball and net. Call foot faults, but not full middle school rules and rotations. Games are competitive and teams put focus on three hits. Boss Frog 2 - Grades 6-9. Most competitive division and tryouts required. They use middle school rules with substitutions and positions. If your daughter played in middle school, it's a great place to play in the spring if she's not doing club. During the off seasons and some weekends, they offer training, camps and clinics. Always seems to be something going on.
