やや古臭さがあるのは否めませんが、ロ―プウェイからの紅葉の眺めは圧巻。紅葉の見頃は湯元駅周辺で10月中旬位まで。頂上駅? 周辺が10月上旬位迄のようです。冬期も余程の悪天候でない限り営業しているようですが、外へ出ても一面の銀世界と猛烈な寒さ。やはり秋に訪れたい所ですね。
