I use Mountelm quite often for scrap metal from a charity shop. Despite only having small amounts I find the staff very helpful - and it must be aggravating for them to deal with 5 bags of grotty kitchen ware and dead ornaments! They're always polite and the ladies in the office are lovely.
I have taken aluminium cans, foil and donated aluminium items to Mountelm for years as a fundraising project for a local charity. I have always found the staff outside and in the office extremely helpful.
