I was interested in a flat I spoke to someone but they never got back to me as they promised a very poor service.
Simpson Estates have provided, by far, the greatest service of any of the 6 or so letting agents I have used in the past. From the quickly-arranged viewing it was only 6 days before I had moved into the flat I am now renting. During my years in the flat, Simpson Estates acted quickly on any issues with the accommodation (of which there were very few) and they were very understanding and proactive regarding maintenance of the property. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful to the extent that communicating with them was more akin to a friendship than the cold and tedious conversations typical of a letting agent. The small nature of the business affords them a truly personal touch and I will certainly miss working with them. I would definitely recommend using them and would continue to do so myself indefinitely if it was possible.
So far my best experience with an agency, after 2 years of being ripped off from private “buy to let” landlords and their dodgy agencies. Excellent flat for an excellent price, finally my first flat with proper central heating, amazing and fast service, whenever we need to fix something they respond quickly, I would highly recommend.
Having experienced their efficient, effective and friendly service in dealing with our rental property we had no hesitation in instructing Simpson Estates when we decided to move home. While ours was not a straightforward transaction we could not have wished for better support as they kept us informed every step of the way. They come highly recommended.
