I am sorry for your experience at Tigh Faire B & B but as advised on booking via telephone and within the following text the accommodation check in time is 4pm. Unfortunately due to your arrival 3 hours early the room was not ready. Had you called in at the visitor information centre as requested I would have clarified this. Of the hundreds of guests to stay this is the one complaint and I have had many satisfied guests return for further stays. Payment by card is always taken via the visitor information centre and cash or cheque payments at the accommodation are given a receipt for the balance accordingly. On departure both the cash receipt and card receipt were presented to you after I personally went back to the information centre to obtain the card receipt.

Great hospitality, very accommodating and more than helpful. Unfortunately we had to cut the stay short but they were so helpful. Will definitely stay here again if we return to mull
I booked friends in to Tigh Faire for our wedding in April 2015 and Nikki couldn't of been more helpful. What a fantastic time they had, the room was lovely and Nikki's hospitality was wonderful. Thank you!
Thank you so much for hospitality Tim And Nikki! This has got to be one of the best(if not the best) B&B's in the area. Everything was perfect. What made it more special was they both took me out on their new boat. We seen Eagles, Whales, Seals and loads more! The room was cosy and really clean! The Breakfast was amazing (The sausages made the difference!) The views were breathtaking! Reccomend 100% Thank you so much, i will be back.
The Tigh Faire B&B in Tobermory is substantially overpriced for the (low) quality offered. We did not like the place at all when we arrived for a 3-days stay in September 2014. The owners' wife offered us a 30 GBP discount to stay, we accepted the deal, but later on when we had no other option than to stay, the owner forced us to give him the 30 GBP discount back. When I asked for a bill before our departure, I was offered one with a fake amount, so obviously also some attempt to a tax fraud was going on. The place was not very clear when we arrived, the room was of the \EasyHotel\ size and there were no hooks for towels in the bathroom. Avoid the Tigh Faire B&B in Tobermory at all costs! It is not worth the money they asked us for (80 GBP/room/night). It is not worth the money they were asking for. It would only make your holidays bitter. Do not pay anything in advance without seeing your room!!!
