I have been using "The Laundry" for years but recently they have been tardy with their work. Last week I took clothes to be ironed and the clothes was not done in the time provided (actually gave them an extra day), and after driving back to collect the clothes it actually looked more wrinkled etc than when I first brought it in (I think they are trying to save plastic so wrap huge amounts of the clothes every which way ... instead of separting them in smaller parcels). I went back three days later and the receptionist gave me a story that the clothes was still not done as she wanted to do it properly herself. Suffice to say I won't be using them anymore as they don't respect the business I give them.

I started doing my laundry here at the beginning of this year and I have been really impressed with everything. The washing is done so well, it is folded beautifully and packaged neatly. The only thing I would really like changed is the use of single-use plastics to wrap/package the washed clothing in. After picking up the washing, the plastic just gets thrown away and I guarantee that you would attract more customers if you changed this. Perhaps mesh bags could be used/sold. I would definitely be willing to buy a mesh bag to use for my washing. Please consider this - the world is changing and we need to be wiser!

I've been using their services for about 6 years, and they were amazing until the new owners took over in December 2017. Ever since then I have issues every single time I send clothing in... EVERY TIME! I have asked that the owner contact me on several occasions so that we can resolve this, but they clearly have zero interest in doing so, and zero intention of maintaining the amazing level of customer service the previous owners had. I will no longer be using their services as I am tired of having my clothes damaged or lost.

Great service and well priced. They charge R35 per kg if you get washing ironing. They record any special instructions - I always ask them to air dry my shirts and t-shirts - and as far as I can tell they actually follow them. They’re also open till 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, which is very convenient. Usually takes 1-2 days for my washing to be ready.

What a bad experience. Thought they are quite expensive as I normally pay less than half the price. Left my duvet their on the Saturday. They said it would be done on the Monday, but they will message me anyway. Never received the message. Got their on Wednesday and they lost my washing.... Said they will follow up and get back to me. They never got back to me. I actually had to follow up myself although they did find my washing in the mean time. I will never go back there again.

This laundromat use yo be great and the owners use to know you by name. But ever since the revamp, its lost it personal touch and there is always some sort of issue with my laundry. Needlss to say, but I wont be supporting these guys any longer.
