Their poached eggs are just perfect and they come over a fresh fluffy waffles. The afternoon tea is amazing too and they have an outstanding range of cakes. The carrot cake was my favorite.

We popped in around midday on a Thursday in September. It was a quiet time and were able to choose where we wanted to sit. We ordered the special cream tea which was delicious. Scones were fresh, soft and warm. Sandwiches were simple but tasty. Cakes lovely and breakfast tea was a needed refreshment. Excellent service and quirky restaurant. Mind your heads!
So many wonderful memories in this little tea shop. When in Canterbury, I always stop by for a delicious cream tea. Some of my favorite scones and clotted cream in all of England. Not even The Savoy in London has better scones. Can't wait to be back again. Hope this little gem makes it through the lockdown just fine. Love from California.
Lovely little atmospheric tea Room. The lady who served us was very polite, friendly and helpful. The cream teas were amazing with lovely jam and clotted cream. Warmed scones. Will go back next time I'm in Canterbury. Definitely recommend
Took my mum here for the champagne afternoon tea Sunday March 31st. We had a great time and the food was amazing, we just had a couple of criticisms. There were 3 of us and the top plate had 3 big slices of cake but all 3 were different, they could of done with 3 small pieces of each piece (9) total, so each of us could of had a small bit of each cake. The only other thing was the young girl that was serving us wasn't the most attentive, we did sit for a while without any tea but I'm sure this will come with time and is by no means a complaint.
