What an awesome experience I had here at naval. All the labor and triage nurses were fantastic but especially my nurse kayce (I think that’s how you spell it) she always made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond. Also my c section surgeon which I don’t have his name but his entire team went above and beyond. I’m so thankful to have delivered my baby here. Such a special group of people who are so passionate about what they do. It’s an privilege to deliver here so don’t listen to what people say about their experiences and create your own!️

This will strictly be a review of the galley food: the Szechuan chicken is good, but I think it would be better if it weren’t wings and thighs. Also the cabbage was really good. 10/6: The Cajun potatoes are not as good as the Rosemary potatoes. Rosemary potatoes still reign supreme. 10/7: fajita lunch was awesome! I love retried beans though and only got like a size 8 scoop of it! Also the tortilla was pretty good. The fresh onions on the side was a nice touch. Tortilla soup has a good flavor - adding in the shredded cheese makes it amazing. I love the theme lunches. 12/1: the omelet chef today did an amazing job on my veggie and cheese omelet. It looked like a burrito made of eggs. And it tasted as good as it looked. 12/7: baked chicken breast was not dry. Also, props to the server who put the chicken ON the rice. Great job. And of course the Italian potatoes were amazing. 12/22: removed a star because there won’t be any omelets until January 2nd. That’s unsatisfactory. 1/6: removing another star because they still are not serving omelets. 2/10: wow it’s been a while! I’ve been meal prepping, which has kept me from the hottest restaurant in J-Ville. But I recently interacted with some fans of my reviews (shout out to blue team nurses) and realized I was denying the people what they want. Adding back a star because they added another worker to the omelet station! Such efficiency! And pro tip: make sure you ask for hot sauce with your breakfast. Game changer. I personally keep cholula at my desk, but Texas Pete does the trick as well (respect for my fellow Texan, Pete).

Went into the ER due to me throwing up so much in a single day while pregnant. I was dehydrated and went in 4 times for them to tell me every time “you’re just pregnant, I puked my whole pregnancy.” After I was told by the doctor who had seen me “you aren’t dehydrated you’re just anxious.” They never took a blood or urine test to even know if I was or wasn’t. They blamed it on my anxiety and prescribed me medication that made me just sleep and sleep. I took it upon myself to go off base and seek medical attention. The ER I went to after told me I was extremely dehydrated. They couldn’t even take my blood or my urine I was so dehydrated. They gave me 2 IVs and told me the medication the Naval hospital prescribed me wasn’t to be taken while pregnant and were very shocked that they didn’t care about me or my baby. If you’re pregnant don’t go here! They don’t care for you like off base doctors do.

Despite the bad reviews, my experience this morning was great. I came in with UR abdominal pain. All of the staff was very quick, professional & polite. I will be taking my family here for any emergency needs.

I know the naval hospital In the past had gotten a bad rep. But the crew I had taking care of me both Friday and Saturday after I had gone in there for surgery were awesome. Including the physician who operated on me. They all were very professional and helpful. Definitely put my nerves at ease while I was there and that took alot considering I have never ever had any major surgery. Definitely glad I got the procedure done there on base
