I live in the Midlands and was staying near Cambridge in my 2011 Besscarr motorhome for several weeks to help my daughter renovate her house. I had a battery problem, so got a jump start and headed off to Cambridge Caravans, where they confirmed I needed a new starter battery and leisure battery (the latter had exploded!!). I was also having problems with the fridge and microwave, so I asked Cambridge Caravans to repair/replace these and do a damp test. I had to have a new fridge element and pcb, a new microwave, a new reed switch in the toilet and new window rubbers in one window due to damp, as well as one or two other small jobs. This work and materials, including new batteries and microwave, cost just over 900. What I hadn't told Cambridge Caravans was that I was thinking of selling my motorhome, and my local dealer had valued it, but wanted to assess it. They also recorded the above work as being needed, plus a lot more damp work on the other side of the motorhome, involving stripping out the kitchen to replace the wallboard. My local dealer quoted 7,000 to do this work (or, rather, they reduced their offer to me - to buy my motorhome - by 7,000). Cambridge Caravans confirmed that there was no damp in the kitchen area! So from personal experience, I can thoroughly recommend Cambridge Caravans. They are decent, honest people who really know their stuff, and do not quote for unnecessary work. I saved over 6,000 by using them instead of my local dealer.

From our initial email to solving a little problem once home the service we received was excellent. Great communication and support when we had an issue which was resolved fully. fairly and quickly.
