Came here on a whim. The reviews are spot on. Expedient service. They do not speak english, so be prepared for that. Food was outstanding.

Very good Ecuadorian cooking, but simple ambiente.
Not as good as it was before. I think it have change owners because the recipes, dishes, even the menu they put you at the table is not the same. Have a ceviche and fritada and the pork was not crunchy but dry and chewy.
Best typical cuisine from the Ecuadorian coast for tourists. Suggested ask is the taste of Ecuador platter, or "bandera ecuatoriana".
The best. Recommended by a local as a great spot to try a myriad of Ecuadorian dishes. We ordered way to much and ate it all.
Meh, the food is just ok but maybe we happened to choose the most bland dishes. There are many cafes, in the same area, for half the w/the same kinds of food, twice the portions & run by friendly owners. We weren't sure if any of them were open at night, though, because of the civil unrest & it's also their Independence Day. They did have a large variety of desserts, though.

Great little cafe for typical Ecuadorian food! Service was great prices are reasonable and food is good. Parking is another matter
