Great pastoral support team, throughout lockdown I've had loads of contact for support and help. Teachers are great and there's always opportunities to get involved with student council and work experience opportunities.

Really good sixth form - the teachers are great and there’s lots of support available if needed. Even throughout lockdown, the teachers and all other staff have been brilliant, despite the fact that it cannot be easy for them either. Live lessons are provided for every subject and there is always someone you can contact if you are struggling at home. I really enjoy it here and would definitely recommend it. Whilst the sixth form is currently based at John Cabot and Bristol Brunel Academy, there are plans for a new site to be built next to BBA, just for the sixth form, in the (relatively) near future. The only downside is that the new building won’t be available for a little while yet, so it seems that whilst current students won’t get any of the benefits of the new site, we will likely have to be shunted out to other schools within the CLF (which will be extremely inconvenient in comparison to the current sites of JCA and BBA, especially for those living in Bristol rather than South Gloucestershire) next academic year, in order to accommodate the extra year 7’s joining in September 2021, due to delays in the opening of Oasis Academy Temple Quarter. Exact interim arrangements are yet to be confirmed, however it seems likely that we will be forced into Digitech Studio School, Kings Oak and/or Hanham Woods academy, which for many will be much further away than JCA / BBA. The goal of the new building is to create a permanent post 16 offering within BS5, however this involves current students having to travel miles away from there.

I would not give any stars as i don't think they are interested in your childs education. My daughter's first day back unfortunately lost her lanyard they did not alowd her to lessons and didn't want to issue her a temporary lanyard due to covid why ? Surely they could by making sure the card is sanitised before and after. Asked for new card at a cost of 10 even that was not available as person who makes them was not in till mid day. In all my doughter lost a valuable day that she could have been there learning.

Terrible school do not go. Takes them forever to do anything and most of the teachers aren't qualified
