I've been with Byron Bank since 1989. Had 2 mortgages with them, they called me when rates dropped. Had documents notarized for free. A nice hometown bank.
I needed to get an item notarized. They provided this service free of charge even though I am not a member of the bank. If I ever do get a local bank I would choose this one solely based off of this one time good experience I had with them. I would rather use a credit union though.
