Bought our 2002 Abbey a couple of months ago from Burton Caravans and although it was more expensive than buying privately we feel it was well worth the trip . Lots of extras included (rather than being stripped out like some dealers do- aquaroll, waste water carrier, step, hook up etc) and a 3 month warranty even on such an old van. When we picked it up everything had been serviced and checked and small issues fixed/replaced. On first trip the hinge broke on the grill door - not easy to replace - and an indicator came loose. Just picked it back up and they have replaced both indicators, fixed the grill and also replaced the gas strut in the locker. Excellent service ! Will go back when we are ready to upgrade.

So point of sale was fantastic. Always thought I would be customer. But when it came to a service I made arrangements to drop the caravan off before hand. This was all OK and was booked 2 months in advance. The time came and they were difficult about me dropping it off as I arranged. Explaining that they had no space etc. When I tried to cancel. They then said bring it. When I got there and dropped it off I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience to them. Also that it was a quick service so can I collect it straight away after. Not things you say to customers. When I got home I decided to call and speak to the owner about what I thought he may be interested to hear about the not so great service and the way I was made to feel. Well the owner was quite the opposite and began to dismiss any of my points that his company agreed too. After 30 mins of going no where on the phone. He being totally dismissive on any fault at all, I asked them to stay open and I went and fetched it back. Then as I got 1 mile away the owner decided to ring me. We got off on the wrong foot as he didn't understand what had happened. Or he spoke to his staff and realised I was speaking the truth but didn't want to know in the beginning. Needless to say I didn't take his offer up and took my business else where. It shouldn't be a customers fault they are to busy. They book the service and agreed to my request. They will never have another penny from me. However the lady that sold us out caravan was fantastic.

From purchase to collection, a very nice experience. Credit to Mark in his handling of all paperwork etc, whilst adhering to social distancing etc. The company was well prepared, gloves, hand sanitizers, paper towels etc. But most impressive was the video hand over prior to collection, in which Mark displayed the operation of all equipment, which could be saved for future use. A very good company to deal with, no gimmicks, good part ex price and value for money caravans. Would recommend.
