A fantastic little community with a range of housing. There's both 1st floor and ground floor flats with their own doors out to the paths. There are also around 40 flats inside the main building. These have door buzzers from the main door. Each flat has bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, sitting room. There's communal facilities such as laundry, garden, etc and a big common room with activities. There's a live-in warden so you always see the same face and quick handyman repairs. There's intercom on every flat, giving people independence to just call on help if they need it. People who are younger or more able often prefer the external flats, opting to move inside if they need more support or prefer more company. Buses to town run near by and Towneley Park is just at the end of the road. It's a private car park so no worries with street parking on match days. It's a fabulous place to live, a friendly little community where people just seem to be getting on with life and enjoying their time!
