Ten years ago I met Pastor Bill of Little White Chapel while attending another church service. I then met him again, five years later, when I revisited that same church. When I heard about his services at The Little White Chapel in Burbank, the next week I brought my kids with me to the service. This confirmed my sense of direction as a mother trying to help my young children build their faith in Creator and community. I come from a mixed-race, cross-cultural family. My background in faith-building spans Christianity, Messianic Judaism, learning from Traditional Lineage Holy People from Indigenous North America and Africa. I am not an easy fit for most Christian communities because of my multi-cultural background. At The Little White Chapel, because of Pastor Bill, I now feel a place of genuine welcome for my family. When all Christian Churches understand and welcome the universal thread through all of us praying for His Kingdom Come... I imagine the shift will be awesome.
