Highly recommend! Most recently, summer 2015, a new and energetic Pastor Sam Kim has joined the and the experience on Sunday mornings and beyond is exactly what we are looking for. Lots of families with school age children attend making the environment a great place to meet other families. Our kids ages 12 and 13 love coming to church and we are happy to say we have a church home here in Burbank!

Attended twice in the last three weeks and felt a very good vibe in this church...the people are energetic, friendly, and are engaged in a traditional progressive worship service. I look forward to learning more about the church and the congregation. The children's Sunday School is well set up with good coverage and the kids came out carrying an actual activity page with Bible content. I loved that.

My wife and I started attending BFUMC in November 2013 and we were welcomed with open arms. We have since had a child and are very excited to be raising him in this church. I have become involved helping out with the youth, BUMPS (Burbank United Methodist Players Theatre Group), and other various activities. This is a very active church and they always have something fun going on. Highly recommended if you are looking for a fun, warm, and exciting church to be part of. My family is very blessed for finding Burbank First United Methodist.

I have been attending FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH for 15 years now and it has truly become my church home. The people are warm and inviting and the pastor is a great leader. My children both attended Sunday and were confirmed in the church. The church has become very involved in community outreach and has provided countless life lessons for my kids. I will forever be grateful to God for leading my family to this church.

If you're looking for your forever church home, come to the big beautiful brick church on GlenOaks (a long time staple and icon to Burbank). Great family setting, and their motto of 'Open Hearts, Open Mind, Open Doors' is very true. We have been attending this church since moving to CA in 2009. Our new pastor, Sam Kim, along with his family, has been an invaluable addition to our church family, and his sermons are encouraging, insightful, and refreshingly engaging. I hope you'll join us one week to see the same for yourself.
