Grae Laws

A splendid church in a bustling town. The earliest parts of the church dates to the 14th century. It was altered and extended in the late 15th century. It was restored from 1884 to 1889. On 19 August 1959, the church was designated a grade II* listed building. The area immediately surrounding the church contains many old graves with the oldest gravestone that of John Watts in 1692. It was closed to fresh burials early in the 20th century

Absolutely stunning church with a rich history and beautiful grounds. Very old gravestones are well kept and provide historical glimpses into the past.
