The always busy surf club, the renovations have done wonders to liven this place up 10 out of 10. The meal selection is not the biggest I've seen but a reasonable selection, the only negative thing I could say is the food was only warm not hot. Bar selection is extensive and bar staff very friendly and polite, the gaming room is quite large and airy. Overall a nice place to be if your down broadbeach way, give it a go.
The staff went out of there way to make sure we had the best time. The food was incredible and the view of the ocean is fantastic. I will definitely be back.
A nice location and view with friendly staff. We ordered Grilled Seafood and Spanish Paella which Both were so delicious. However, Paella was a little bit different to real Spanish version which has more rice and saffron and has crispy rice but still delicious. Not sure if dill is an ingredient for Valenciano version but I really liked it in the Paella. Fishes and bugs cooked to perfection in our Grilled Seafood plate. However, sauce which comes with the seafood can be with tastier and with some more flavour. All up, I have to give a 5 start to our experience
This place has the view, it really can’t be beaten. It is worth becoming a member here (10 for a year) as the food and drinks are not cheap, and you will save at least that much ordering a couple of drinks and meals. This meals are classic bistro food. Although this venue is modern the average clientele here is retirees, it does feel more like an RSL than a cool surf club.
We recently held a half day event in the Function room, and had a great experience. Amie did a fantastic job of supporting our team from booking, to executing the coordination of the day. Amber who assisted with all of our food and drink requirements was really helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thanks ladies. We will back!
New Years Day Birthday lunch for my father-in-law. Easy booking on line followed up by a confirmation email and a reminder closer to the day. The venue is very open & clean with great views of the ocean & beach’s. Dad is very particular about his food and to get a smile & two thumbs up from him for the food - is priceless! The service was also outstanding with our every request met with a smile and “sure we can” attitude. All in all an awesome day out and a massive thanks to the staff for making it a memorable birthday for dad. Regards T
Great spot very popular so book ahead on weekends. Good food slightly high in price but even at near capacity our food was delivered in a timely manner. Definitely worth the visit for a quick lunch with friendly and happy staff.
