We love it. The staff are so kind, caring, and knowledgable. Our family was blessed to have the opportunity to bond with the horses. Horses really are great,wonderful,and healing.

I couldn't be more happier with this place!!!! As a current volunteer of SMTRC for a year and a half.... everything about the place is just truly amazing! The grounds are well kept and clean, and the horses are the best. They are calm, gentle, loving, very well taken care of, awesome in lessons, and I couldn't ask for any better friends than \the herd\. Oh, and I can't forget Elmer our mule, and the two goats!! The staff is super nice too! No one judges you - they treat the volunteers, horses, and participants as one big family. To see the way the participants light up when they are united with the horses makes me so happy. I know that I am doing something great for the community, so I am honored to be a volunteer at Shepard Meadows.
