I ordered and paid for two tree surgery items online: a climbing harness and some climbing spike replacement straps, both new. The harness when it arrived, although never used, turned out to be three years old. They have a shelf life of ten years, which means the maximum usage I'll get out of it is potentially down to seven years. I raised this on the phone with them but was fobbed off. Although it wasn't apparent from the website, it turned out they didn't have the spike straps in stock. After some chasing on my part they eventually said their supplier couldn't say when they'd have them in. So they gave me a refund for the straps. Mediocre.

Terrible customer service, extremely rude on the phone. When I bought a chainsaw from them it arrived with no bar and chain as it should have. When I called they didn't believe me at first, were eventually convinced enough to send me them out but couldn't even throw in a spare file to compensate for the work lost whilst I waited for the rest of my saw! When the saw died a year later 3 weeks out of warranty they were totally unwilling to help in any way without charging me even for basic inspection. Would never use them again.
