CSW Extensions were recommended to us by a friend, and their service and quality was fantastic. From the first visit, Ryan was very professional and reassured us that our needs could be met. We wanted new bi-fold doors across the back of the house which required a new lintel, removal of a chimney breast (which we subsequently decided against), a new window, new kitchen fitted and all walls and ceiling re-plastered. Ryan was prompt in providing a quote and could provide all the services we requested. There was a slight delay to the start of the works due to COVID which was to be expected, but Ryan kept us up to date. He was always very punctual at replying to all queries. We also requested Ryan to quote for removing our old lath and plaster walls from the hall, stairs and landing and having all the electrics and heating pipes inlaid to the wall. Ryan provided us with a quote and they were able to undertake these works at the same time. All the works were carried out without a hitch, and the two builders we had on-site were great workers who were considerate of our needs whilst living through the upheaval. Mid-way through the job our neighbour had a leak in her extension which Ryan and his team were able to look at and also undertake these roof repair works at short notice. We were really impressed with CSW throughout - their work, professionalism, communication and quality was excellent. We would be very happy using them again and would recommend them to anybody - not just for extension works but other building and loft conversion works too.

We instructed CSW Extensions after being recommended to us by a friend. We were looking to open up 3 rooms to the rear of our property to make an open plan space and to fit 6 metre bi-fold doors. We had already instructed a structural engineer to do the calculations for the steels that would need to be fitted to support the back of the house. Ryan was prompt in providing a quote and we booked them in well in advance. We weren’t sure whether work would go ahead with due to COVID but after a slight delay work commenced. It wasn’t long before the steels arrived and we couldn’t quite believe the size of them. We had some concerns about the height the main steel (3 sections) would fitted due to its size and Russ assured us that he could fit them high enough into the ceiling. After an anxious few days they were in and true to his word Russ and the guys got them where he said they would much to our relief. Part way into the job we also asked CSW to quote us to replace the pitched roof on the rear extension. They then proceeded with stripping the roof and replacing all the timbers in no time. There were concerns as to whether they would be able to get any tiles due to material shortages but Russ rang numerous suppliers and eventually got lucky in getting us our grey tiles to match the main roof. We cannot fault CSW, the work and service they provided was excellent. They were a very friendly bunch of guys and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Communication was great and we always got a prompt response from Russ or Ryan. We would recommend them and would certainly use them again if we ever do another project.
