No benches or places to sit down but is near to toilets and cafe. Lovely beach.

Absolutely loved it. Even find some fossils. Parking at the beach car park is coin. There was no card or online option.

Small road leading to it, only accepts exact change in coins, no way of paying by card or changing notes to coins, no app either. (Even the ice-cream van would not change and would only accept exact change, no way of buying to get some change) Most car parks around Dorset had at least 1 of those options, this one is worth avoiding and just parking on the main road where there are free spaces and only a road away. I'm not a fan of parking in local areas when a car park is available but that was the only option we were left with as we did not have enough in coins, only notes and card and the local car park app and no way of changing our money. It makes for a difficult experience despite most car parks in the area being extremely easy and well thought out. It's a shame for such a great area and truly beautiful. The cad park is well situated right on the beach.

Perfectly situated just a stones throw from the pebbled beach. All day parking just 4 a day which is cheap by todays standards. True, it doesn't accept card or online payments but then this is exactly why I use Google reviews before parking up! Many car parks still don't accept card payments so if you turn up and grumble then you're badly prepared!!

Perfect place for kids to run off steam. Level beach which leads gently to the sea for paddling. Very accessible and a lovely spot to walk the dogs. 2 cafes, toilets, bridge over the river and a chance at fossil finding.
