Ger has created a really special yoga studio which has always been a haven away from the stresses of day to day life. Her classes are a mix of relaxation, challenge and joy. Even during covid with all its challenges and restrictions Ger and her classes have remained a constant source of calm and rejuvenation. Although I miss the atmosphere of the studio there are huge benefits to the Zoom classes also. I would highly recommend the classes and workshops at Breathing Place.

Having suffered with Sciatica for some years, i can truly say that attending Ger's Hatha yoga classes has changed my life and has been hugely beneficial to me. I also have experience of Ger's 'magic hands' while attending her Physiotherapy clinic. The Yoga classes, while tough, are always rewarding and you always feel fantastic when you leave. A great studio, fantastic teacher and a great bunch of people.
This is an incredible yoga studio. Small classes and Ger is an gifted teacher, catering for all needs in her classes. Highly reccomend!

Going to Ger's Hatha Yoga classes on a Tuesday morning has been simply life changing, I wouldn't miss them for the world. Highly recommend, Ger is an amazing teacher and the small class sizes mean you get the most out of it, we are all at different levels and Ger offers encouragement and support. Good for the body and good for the soul.

Been attending the Forrest Yoga classes since 2005 and have benefitted greatly in health, balance, core strength and grounded-ness! I treat myself to a workshop every so often, great discount when bought with classes. Workshops are a lovely \me time\ opportunity and always a good experience. And if I ever get any aches and pains, there is the trusted physical therapy service with Ger.
I’ve been coming here for yoga (from Forest Yoga, Hatha, Flow and pregnancy yoga to weekend workshops) for the better part of a year and I highly recommend it. I had never tried Forest yoga until coming here. After a few months of 1-2 classes a week I found my mental and physical heath so much better for it. My energy levels increased, I slept better and more regularly and my back and neck pain slowly improved. Ger does a great job of helping you move through each positions and gives you helpful and meaningful instruction throughout the class. A few months ago I switched to Hatha yoga as the timing suited my work schedule better. I really enjoy how it changes every week—no class is the same! One week we’ll work on breath, the next on arms. The class is very accommodating to all levels too so you’ll never feel like you’re behind or not challenged enough. Ger’s pregnancy classes are amazing too. I really recommend them. I’m 20 weeks pregnant now and have been going to her class since 14 weeks pregnant. I’ve been to a few other types of classes around the area but I find this class the best. It is the most helpful in relieving pregnancy symptoms, creates a positive mindset throughout your pregnancy and Ger really teaches you how to be pregnant and enjoy it. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a supportive, welcoming, yoga studio with a local vibe, then look no further.
