I have a special diet because of my liver and I was told by staff it was a choice and a luxury. I have sensitive skin like most products I have an allergic reaction or it make my eczema worst but that a luxury too. I when here because of domestic violence but stuff made me feel worthless and wasn’t supposed because of Brantford housing crisis. I also felt I wasnt important enough because I didn’t have children. Someone I was talking to told me I just when from one abusive place to and other and offer me there couch.

At first, this place seemed amazing!! They have certain rules which I agree with. They are allowed 3 overnights out of the facility. One more and they kick you out!! It was impossible and very unsafe for this one very young girl to get back on her 4th. I believe this shoukd have been taken in to consideration!! This facility should be all about keeping women safe!! I'm very disappointed with how unprofessionally this sensitive situation was handled! Other women have had over 9 overnights and STILL live there!! Please review your rules and regulations Nova Vita!!!

I received counselling here many years ago when I left an abusive marriage after 19 years. The help and support I received here got me through those rough months and is still my strength.
