Pearls has a lovely atmosphere. Decor looks really nice when you sit down. I had the lasagne and chips. It tasted very nice however I would have liked a little more spice but that is personal taste. Desserts were lovely. The chocolate Tart was so rich and very decadent. Mock tails were nice, a bit too much mint. I think they would look nicer served in better glasses. Only let down was it had a Mushy strawberry but that was fixed pretty quick. Desserts were the best part but we found what looked like a small hair/fibre. The waitress immediately swapped it for a fresh plate. Overall I'd return here again. Especially for the lovely desserts. Always look top notch.

We popped into Pearls for breakfast en-route to Manchester after hearing positive comments about the place. The decor is quite nice, chic. You can see they took the “inspiration” from Betty’s. We ordered the full English as well as egg Benedicts for breakfast. The food itself was decent. English breakfast is recommended. Downside is for the price other places do give tea but here it’s an added cost. Couple of our drinks we were told last minute they can’t make them due to an ingredient being out of stock (this was before 12pm! The ingredient in question is available in every grocery shop!). We ordered desserts which we waited for a while before enquiring where they were to be told the order didn’t go to the kitchen! Once they arrived we were once again told last minute one of the deserts we ordered were out of stock. They’re overpriced for what they were. The little 70p chocolates weren’t special either. Given the situation the world is with COVID -19 the place lacked in measures. First off the sanitiser at the front was empty. All the tables were very very close together so extremely difficult to be kept socially distanced from other diners (most places we’ve visited since lockdown ended have removed seating and/or closed off tables to allow distancing) majority of staff weren’t wearing masks and the ones that were weren’t even covering their nose (might as well not wear it!) also the staff that we could see all seemed on edge, never saw anyone smile. Odd. This place has the right idea. Just the execution was not great. It certainly deserves another chance in the future. Maybe we just came on a “off” day where they weren’t in the mood. Saying that though the distancing measures should be taken seriously regardless considering Bradford does have high cases of coronavirus cases!

Excellent service and friendly staff. They are taking full precautions against spreading Corona. They have live music-melodic atmosphere. Scrumptious and delicious breakfast. We ordered full English breakfast and egg Royale with Latte. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended and would love to try their different dishes from menu.

Was a really nice experience dining here. I had the french toast and English tea. The food was really nice the toast was fluffy and fresh. The waitress that served us was really polite and I accidentally spilt some of the tea on my hands and plate but the another waitress kindly offered me a tissue and adviced me to be careful as the tea was hot. After looking at the menu, I now know that they offer main courses as well so I have the intention of coming back for that and the deserts.

Lovely place and helpful staff. The food was great, well presented and reasonably priced. The Indian and British afternoon tea were fantastic. And what we couldn't finish the staff boxed up for us to take home.
