Thought it would be more interesting I cycled 3 laps and got bored so went to moors valley instead.

Excellent facility hidden away. It's one of only 2 outdoor 250m tracks in the country and while there are a few bumps and not many surrounding facilities but as a track it's brilliant

Bournemouth velodrome is the place to be... I recently visited after purchasing a brand new carera v17 ultra max road and track bike hybrid, and was pleasantly surprised as to how smooth it goes on the tarmac. I must say as a local resident I was sceptical when it was first built but, after using it, all prior judgments have been dropped and I must say I am thoroughly impressed.
