We live across the street and this family-run restaurant is terrific. A great addition to the community and an awesome source of delicious Dominican cuisine. Take-out is also a great option that they offer. Definitely recommend!

Since I never walked down Hyde Park Ave in this direction, I didn't realize I had Dominican food right in my neighborhood! My only regret is not eating there early enough. The woman behind the counter was super friendly and explained every item to us, and I ended up ordering this super fragrant rice & beans, tender beef stew, and absolutely delicious okra soaking up all its sauce. I want to go back and try their chicken stew, chicken gizzard, saltfish, everything! Homey comfort food, so worth.
Amazing food, friendly staff, great prices. Feeds my family of four with leftovers for under 30 bucks.
