A little gem of a place. How pubs should be. The service was great and the food was lovely. Please visitors just follow the covid rules, wear your masks and sign in. The staff are trying so hard to keep everyone safe so do your bit too. The staff were FANTASTIC. Can't wait to go again.

Was very disappointed in our visit here. The drink we ordered took over half an hour to arrive, and others got their drinks before ours. The staff seemed to be more interested in the regulars than tourists. The pub was clean and tidy though. Toilets were very clean. Wouldn't visit here again when I next visit boscastle.

After seeing great reviews online, we were very disappointed with our evening here. 30 minutes to get our first drink at the table. 1hr 20 to get our starters and 1hr 50 for our mains. I really didn’t fancy desert for breakfast! Lovely pub inside. Plenty of staff on but not really made to feel welcome. Food actually came out cold. How can you do that? Hopefully it was just a bad night for them then but sadly wouldn’t go back. Been to the Wellington up the road twice. Amazing food and service. The Wellington got a bigger tip. What we would’ve given the staff here had we got good service.

Really characterful pub! Good food very friendly staff and we'll set up for covid safety. We popped in in a Rainey morning and Tracy really looked after us with some warming drinks ... Then some lovely home cooked food all at reasonable prices. It is busy so would recommend booking!
