After seeing a Brother Embroidery machine on the website I wanted, I called up to check stock. Unfortunately the machine I was after had sold out but GUR arranged another machine to be delivered to me the very next day. The customer service was absolutely outstanding and I will 100% be returning to buy supplies! Thank you so much GUR

I ordered a 3,500 machine online after reading mainly good reviews. They called and told me it was out of stock and a new one ‘might’ be in stock the next week. A week later, they called saying it ‘might’ be ANOTHER week for the product. I had an urgent project - which was the reason I chose a company with next day delivery. An extremely irritating error on their part but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The next week, I gave up the wait and decided to purchase a different model. Next day came and no machine. I called them and (again) there was no machine. They told me that they had ordered from the supplier and I would be waiting a few more weeks. What I initially viewed as an inconvenient error seems to be how they run their business - you pay for things they don’t have, and they order in. The next day delivery promise is a lie, and they will give excuses instead of apologies. I asked for a refund again and bought with one day delivery on Amazon. I was given excuses about the fact that Brother has issues right now and ‘everyone’ is struggling, which I appreciate to be true but does NOT excuse selling items you don’t have with a false promise of next day delivery. That’s misleading and fraudulent! Simply be honest on the site, and say that you’ll order machines in AFTER orders are placed and the problem would be sorted. Note that I had no problems getting refunds from the company, just long delays. I have annoyingly now had my money stuck in the 'refund' process for two different weeks. The guy said efunds will not be a problem\ but didn't apologise for the \problem\ of my time being wasted. Overall, you will get your machine/money at some point (they aren't literally robbing you) but they are sneaky with timing and the customer service isn't amazing.

My wife wanted a new sewing machine and although she had a rough idea of what she wanted was unsure of the exact machine. After speaking with GUR she felt reassured and confident in the machine she finally purchased. The person she spoke to at GUR was very informative and gave her all the information she needed. We ordered the machine on Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday lunchtime. I know it is early days but I think we have made the right choice in choosing GUR.
