Charming atmosphere (white tablecloths, chandelier), with a musician and singer performing Turkish folk music (so it gets loud). Welcoming and friendly service. They bring the cold meze around on trays to let you choose. The best kunefe.

The venue is good for a chilled envirnoment it has a smoking area so you don't have to keep going out for smoking. The service was not bad as they show you all the meze and you can pick the ones you want and you also in the beginning they changed the ashtray quite often but the service kind of stopped as time passed not that you need your ashtray changed every so often but they never checked to see if you need anything.

It's generally a good Meyhane. The atmosphere is nice and stuff is friendly. Mezes are good but meatballs are below average unlikely the price of it. It is very close to the busiest street in Istanbul the Istiklal and Taksim Square. They also have a small group of two who sings beautiful Turkish songs of old times.

Second visit to this meyhane. Love this place but we were helped by Turkish couple re what to order. No tourists although just off Istiklal Caddesi in prime tourist area. A fight nearly broke out at a table; credit to the waiters for defusing the situation! Apparently these people were friends but too much reki... That said, it's not an aggressive place. One of our favourites
