Richy our guide was brilliant. Took his time with the slower members of the group and commanded attention for the really important parts, really nice chatty bloke. Even tried teaching my son Tyler some Welsh words on the walk back. In an old slate mine, a little bit of history as well as the fun stuff. Really recommend this as a beginners guide for adults and an introduction for children. If you have done abseiling and climbing before and are happy with equipment, I recommend going to the more xtreme courses!

I visited these guys a while ago as a birthday gift and still to this day remember it as hands down the best gift I have ever received. There are plenty of exciting things I've done, snowboarded all over the world, trad climbing, mountaineering, BMX racing, track cycling, but as a single day experience, this has them all beat and it's still something I won't stop recommending. It wasn't just the experience itself, it was the guiding. The leaders who took us down were the kind of likeable, trustworthy people you tend to see in these environments and gave us a fantastic day out. We did the full day with all the extras on it and it was worth it. If you're a recreational climber and meet their requirements, it's worth it.

Great adventure challenge, something different to do. Great opportunity to explore old mine, do a bit of climbing and a few zips. You have three levels of difficulty, the first one is quite easy, you can do this with kids, the last one is the best one, for people who love challenge themselves.

Due to a landslide/flooded roads we couldn't make it to our booked session, but we were happily given spaces for the next morning. After a short drive through picturesque scenery, a walk to the mine entrance with stunning views, we made it underground where we had such a great time. Tim and Ron were fantastic guides that were very friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable about the mine. 100% recommend booking a day underground!

We had an incredible time with Sam in our Go Below Challenge exploring the mine, zip lining and abseiling. It was just Sam and us, so it felt like a personalised experience. Sam was really informative, lively and had a great sense of humour, we had a blast with him and hope he can take us around our next challenge. We can’t wait to come back and do the Ultimate Challenge!
