RE: TIP not Access Services as a whole. Very disappointing. We were referred to the TIP program by my son's psychiatrist. My son is eighteen and has struggled with mental health issues for years. This sounded like a wonderful program to help him to independence. We went through the application process and became acquainted with several people from the program. The people we met seemed to be knowledgeable and very engaged with clients. My son was assigned a case manager who had great rapport. He shared with my son the fact that he was adopted, had struggled with mental health issues, and was of the same ethnicity. Unfortunately, this case worker had a life event that caused him to quit. Since then, he was assigned another case worker who seemed nice enough, but he had a bad habit of missing appointments. He has called 45 minutes prior to a meeting to say he was sick. Other times he simply did not show. There has not been a meeting with him for almost three months. I have contacted the manager and he has expressed regret that there has been a problem, but nothing gets fixed. My son has had numerous problems that accompany mental health issues and this, on it's face, seemed like an excellent aide. I'm so sorry to say we have to move on. The search continues for other avenues.
We are foster parents through this agency and my opinion they are the best in the county. Great staff that first priority is the kids on every aspect
It a careful company and loving staff
