Service staff were very friendly but they weren’t really around for us to get their attention as we were seated upstairs when the restaurant was almost empty. Food took slightly longer to be served but it was expected of a large group. Some of the meals were great such as the beef salad and fish and chips. Others were a miss, such as the creamy pasta dish and sweet potato soup.

We are visitors to Palmy n recommended to Bethanys. We checked them out online and very pleased we experienced their hospitality n cuisine. I ordered the special outlined online n received 30% discount. Their desserts, wines n waitstaff all superb. A gorgeous evening allowed us to sit outside...what more could one want. If looking for somewhere for lunch or dinner...do try Bethanys!
Great food and service tonight. The garlic bread was yummy and the lamb rump was cooked to perfection. My friend had the pasta and loved it as well. The only downside was the cheese on the wedges being over cooked. Will definitely be returning though.
We were upstairs with lovely view of the Clock Tower at night. Had very nice platter of Breads and dips to share. The Beef burgers were very substantial and very tasty. No lighting turned on in the stairway on the way down at 9pm. A bit tricky. Enjoyable meal and location. Will be back.
Great place for a gathering where you want to be able to talk as there was no loud music in the background. Fantastic views of the square from upstairs. Meals were full of flavour and beautifully presented.Work lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Very much enjoyed my beef salad. Couple of tiny hiccups but overall a good experience. Lovely attentive service. Would eat again.
Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. We had egg Benedicts which were divine. The upstairs sitting area overlooking the square has beautiful views.
Went with a group for lunch - it was a nice surprise to discover their upstairs space which had a nice view out over the Square. I ordered the vegan salad even though I'm not a vegan - wanted something healthy and interesting. And the gamble paid off - it was a generous serving and not all salad leaves like some places put up. Roasted nuts, artichokes! Very satisfied and recommended.
42 for a three course meal. Generous in the meat portions. Professional service.
