Michal has been teaching my boys since 2013. My boys were convinced that they wanted to continue learning to play the piano as soon as they finished their first lessons with her. She used to come to our house to give them lessons until she moved to Boston. Since my boys are still hesitant to change teachers, Michal has been very accommodating by continuing to teach them remotely through FaceTime. Michal also helped us choose a piano that fits our needs and lifestyle. She is a very patient and caring teacher. She is able to adapt her teaching style to my boys' vastly different learning styles. She also customizes the lessons based on their interest. She teaches with compassion and patience, giving attention to each of my boys' skills and abilities. She keeps them motivated by giving them challenges without making them feel overwhelmed. Michal also provides us with timely updates on their progress and lets us know how to help the boys to get the most out of their practice times. Her studio policies are well-defined and fair. We would highly recommend Michal as a piano teacher.

Incredible piano teacher. Very welcoming and encouraging to children. Piano lessons are tailored based on each student’s individual learning pace. Michal teaches private piano lessons and Kindermusik group classes. Group classes are conducted professionally with amazing progress noticed in the students. The group classes are perfect transition to private piano lessons.
I would rate Miss Michal “5 out of 5” as an AMAZING piano teacher. She cares about her students. My daughter joined her class since July last year and has no piano experience. After 7 months of joining Miss Michal’s piano class my daughter already know how to read music notes by herself. I am super impressed. She knows how to motivate her students by rewarding prizes and playing fun games to inspire students to practice. Her inspiration is what motivate my daughter to love and enjoy playing piano. Strongly recommended!!!!!

Michal Grace Harris is a superlative teacher - not just piano but a teacher generally. Our children have enjoyed learning to play but more importantly have learned to enjoy playing and have gained greater appreciation for the music. Her addition of listening and history assignments have been critical to our children's growth. Her communication with us has been fantastic, so even though we aren't able to be at lessons, we know how our kids are progressing. She is unafraid to inform us of both the good and the areas that need improvement - not just technically but also in their growth as people. Our focus has been on piano as another vehicle by which our children can round out their understanding of what life has to offer and as different challenge than the academic and athletic ones they also do. While Michal certainly can and does support the potential development toward professional careers, she also supports our goals of shaping complete young people.
