Sue and Neil taught me to ride aged 7 and I rode here for 8 years until i got my own horse. I have recently started to come back to the riding school (aged 27) - riding once a week and it has been amazing. Sue and Neil have a wealth of knowledge and will help you grow as a rider wether you're a beginner or have been riding for years. The horses are gorgeous, they are all such characters and you feel safe on whoever you ride. If are you are interested in dressage Sue will assist you and help you compete when you feel the time is right. The lessons are well suited to your ability and the horses take great care of you. Everyone is very sociable and are all happy to be on the yard. Riding is a great sport and really helps me switch off from a hectic week. This is a 5 star yard with 5 star horses and instructors.

Sue and Neil are great instructors and the horses are so well behaved. I adore my weekly lessons and have learned so much in the past 18 months - even had a go at competing!

Tinsleys Riding School is a fantastic place! Sue and Neil are both very knowledgeable and are able to teach across all levels. The horses are very well cared for and many are competing regularly in dressage competitions- and winning! But as important is the friendliness and welcome for all. I t is certainly the best place that I have ever ridden.

I have been riding with Sue and Neil at Tinsley’s for 15 years. They look after my aged horse Huggybear and have lent me their lovely Austin now that Huggy can’t be ridden. They are very sympathetic teachers and I have learnt a lot, both about riding and about working with horses. Even though I am aged, they still take me competing at dressage. The Tinsley’s horses excel at competitions, they are so well trained and of a great disposition. They are usually the best horses in the class! The yard is sociable and good fun and it is so sweet to see littlies aged six and upwards learning to ride and be happy around horses. Thank you, Sue and Neil for 15 great years, from Barbara and Huggybear.
